There is a little less than two months to go until the official start of summer and to get everyone excited we will be doing a list of 50 things to do in the summer around here.
For starters in the summer a no brainer activity should be to get to the beach. There are many beaches on the Island, that I’m sure you already know about and plenty little gems to be found. Though its not 80 degrees and sunny out yet, there is still plenty of fun to be had at the beach while you still do not have to pay for parking. Paying for parking at Second Beach in Middletown starts in late May and is a bitch, season passes cost more than anyone should spend on a parking spot, but you can find a way around them, take advantage of warm weather before then and during the summer before 8 am and after 4 pm where there is no parking cost, there’s no need to give anyone but Island Liquors any money to have a good day on the beach. Winters is over our asses will be in the sand in no time, get ready.
